The NSW Primary Health Care Research Capacity Building Program
 

Who are We?

NSW PHC is a collaboration between seven University Departments throughout the state, including: Discipline of General Practice, University of Newcastle; Department of General Practice, University of Sydney; School of Public Health & Community Medicine, University of New South Wales; Broken Hill Department of Rural Health, University of Sydney; Northern Rivers University Department of Rural Health, University of Sydney; University Department of Rural Health Northern NSW, University of Newcastle; The Academic Unit of General Practice and Community Health, Australian National University. Statewide activities are coordinated by the NSW PHC Coordination Unit.

Each university department has a program or network coordinator, and a head of department responsible for coordinating its research capacity building programs. The State Coordinator and the Chair of the Advisory Committee, under the guidance of the NSW PHC Advisory Committee, are responsible for the coordination of statewide activities.
