4th Biennial NSW PHC Research & Evaluation Conference, 29-30 November 2007

The 4th Biennial NSW Primary Health Care Research & Evaluation Conference was held at the Swiss Grand Resort & Spa, Bondi Beach, Sydney, on 29 - 30 November 2007.

The theme of the conference was “Growing Together for Impact and Sustainability”. This theme promoted the idea that to prosper, we must develop primary health care research through partnerships that are ongoing, that do make a difference to services on the ground and that lead to health outcomes.

The conference aimed to address the following issues:
• How can we collaborate strategically within and beyond the primary health care sector to engage in multidisciplinary partnerships?
• How do we embed research and evaluation as part of primary health care practice?
• How can we work together to provide leadership and sustain the next generation of primary health care researchers?
• How can we promote a culture of critical inquiry that challenges our thinking about our practice?
• How do we know that our research makes a difference?

More details about the conference can be found in the following files.
